Craig Mayrer is the director of finance at Bullen Ultrasonics, a global leader in the precision machining of advanced ceramics, glass, and specialty materials using proprietary ultrasonic and laser-based technologies. In this role, Craig oversees both the finance and IT functions, integrating strategic financial planning with robust data infrastructure to support company-wide performance, innovation and operational resilience. With a strong background in both disciplines, he plays a pivotal role in aligning operational decisions with long-term business goals and advancing digital systems that drive efficiency, clarity and control.

With more than 30 years of experience spanning finance, analytics, IT systems and military service, Craig brings a rare blend of strategic insight, operational discipline and cross-functional collaboration. Since joining Bullen, Craig has led the development of an adaptable budget framework, ensuring that financial planning is both rigorous and responsive to changing business needs. He implemented a dynamic budgeting and forecasting system, improving forecast accuracy to within 2% of actual performance. He has also led major cloud migration initiatives, transitioning the company from legacy systems to hosted solutions that offer greater reliability, scalability and redundancy. In addition, Craig has played a key role in advancing data automation initiatives that streamline how financial and operational data is captured, shared and used to drive smarter, faster decision-making across the organization. 

Prior to joining Bullen, he held key leadership roles at Arc Abrasives for more than 20 years, where he modernized financial systems and built operational analytics tools to support manufacturing excellence. At Dow Chemical and Nestlé, he developed expertise in financial planning, reporting automation and enterprise-scale operations. He also served in both the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard, experiences that shaped his mission-driven leadership stye and strengthened his commitment to accountability, team development and execution. 

He studied microbiology at The Ohio State University and holds a B.S. in accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. 

Outside of work, Craig is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America, where he mentors youth and helps cultivate leadership, responsibility and teamwork through outdoor education and service. A passionate outdoorsman, he is an avid backpacker who enjoys hiking, bicycling and adventure sports.
