Electronics Tech

Job Function:

Read and interpret schematics for electrical, electronics and mechanical systems. Knowledgeable and able to build PCBs, wiring harnesses and panels and other system required for new machine builds and retrofit projects. Skilled in setup and use of high-tech test equipment. Provide high quality assemblies in form, function and esthetics. Provide support to IT and Maintenance Dept., engineering and executive staff. Excel in leadership for potential supervisory role. Maintain personal and company tools. Work independent with little supervision. Proficient in common safety and follow OSHA guidelines. 

Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Associates Degree in electronics or extensive electronics skills and work history.
  • A strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Must be a high school graduate, or have a General Education Degree (GED)
  • Formal training or certificates in a related maintenance discipline is a plus.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Three years experience in a production environment including machine building.
  • Self motivated.
  • Must be able to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to details.
  • Must be able to perform successfully under minimum supervision.
  • Must possess exceptional project management skills and ability to meet deadlines established by management.
  • Must pass screening test(s) requirements.
